There is a charge of £25 for the consultation meeting. This can be paid in cash at the meeting. The consultation meeting is very important and usually lasts an hour.
The membership fee for 1 year is £120. The membership fee will be paid following the consultation meeting before you become a member. We accept bank transfers and cash.
We require a reference written by a professional who supports you such as a Social Worker, Care Manager, Support Worker or GP.
The reference can be written on headed paper or sent from a work email address and will confirm that you have a learning disability or autism and that happily is an appropriate service for you.
We will not accept letters from parents or relatives.
In the consultation meeting we talk about what you are looking for and who you would like to meet. We then make suggestions and you decide if you would like to meet the person or not. We listen to your feedback when we send over a new profile or you meet up with someone.
